Leading in the government and education verticals

COVID-19 has changed everything in the government vertical. It has required government IT leadership to address issues in 2020, and soon 2021, in ways previously unimagined. Call volumes and citizen requests have skyrocketed while at the same time employees were sent home to work, often with a reduced sets of tools. These forces have opened the channel to a vast new set of opportunities with state central IT, agencies, counties, and municipal entities. We will explore who is looking, what they are looking for, and how government engagements differ in style from commercial engagements.

Likewise, the challenges to education IT staff have never been greater. COVID-19 forced a monumental shift in how UCaaS and web collaboration were used, whether by K-12 or higher education. In particular these new paradigms have increased concern over data protection and security for faculty, staff, and students. In this session we will examine how CBTS and the channel can address the unique pain points facing schools and universities, expanding your solution sets and revenue opportunities.
